The Marvel Super Heroes: The Lava Men, a race of volcanic creatures, are concerned about activities on the surface world and dispatch their greatest warrior, Molto, to investigate. There he is ensnared by Loki and forced to battle Thor. Thor defeats Molto and frees him of Loki's control, prompting Molto to return to his people and report that the surface is of no threat to the Lava Men. The adventure doesn't end here, however, as the appearance of an ever-growing "Living Rock" forces the Lava Men to push the rock to the surface, causing a great deal of further chaos.
