The Flying Doctors : Geoff and Kate prepare to celebrate their big day: the birth of their first child. Meanwhile Geoff has a visit from an old paediatrician friend Colin. When the baby is born, it's a daughter: Scarlett Louisa. But she is ill and needs an operation. The person who is best qualified for the job is Colin but unfortunately he is an alcoholic.
